Protecting Your Intellectual Property

Protecting Your Intellectual Property

Entrepreneurs work hard to establish their unique identity.  Yet they often overlook the importance of protecting the identity they worked so hard to create.   Often a large part of a company’s value comes from its intellectual property provided it is properly protected.  But many small business owners don’t do enough to protect their IP because they don’t know how.

This workshop will cover the steps necessary to establish Copyright protection; Trademark protection; Trade secret protection; and Patent protection.  Outsourcing is a growing strategy for small business owners.  Both business owners and outsource service providers will benefit from learning contract terminology that protects both the business and the contract outsource provider.

Presenter: Daniel M. Wadkins, Attorney Lee & Hayes PLLC.
